Beautiful stalactites from a cave in Gumbasalu, located in Bambaira District, North Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi. To enter the location of the cave in Gumbasalu from the direction of trans Sulawesi road, there is a signpost that we first get to get information on the location of the Gumbasalu Cave.

But the most difficult thing was finding the location of the cave between the Gardens and there were no more hints that we got so we had to ask some local residents who knew the exact location of the Gumbasalu Cave.

According to instructions from one of the local residents who knew very well about the cave, we also followed the location of the trail between the forest and the cocoa plantation and the thick bush covering the road.

I recommend having a compass, be careful. If then you will get lost! After several hours of searching for the position of the Gumbasalu cave, we finally found the entrance to the cave. Because the cave in Gumbasalu is rarely visited by tourists, the cave looks very isolated and creepy, so it seems a little tension shrouds the mind when entering the cave door.

Because of my curiosity about the beautiful stalactites in the cave, I entered first, the first time we entered the cave, we were greeted by hundreds of cave dwellers, bats scattered about flying, and hanging from the roof of the cave.

Throughout the very small passage, it felt like the oxygen was running low, it would add up, but at the end of our walk, paid for the enchanting source of the Gumbasalu cave.
